What you need to know to make Grademaster
work for
you!!
1.
Network
Username
/ Password: (NETWORK INSTALL ONLY) Grademaster Platinum is protected by two levels
of security; one at the network user level and one at a password
level. Here is some more information about making this work for
you!
a.
Network
Username
is first level of security
i.
Teacher’s network
user must match the registered network user for a teacher folder
ii.
If multiple users
are used to access a teacher, that is possible (user1,user2 in
registration
box)
iii.
Need
Code for the
day in order to register teachers(442-8656)
b.
Password
is
second level of security when logging in to a teacher folder
i.
Select
Teacher Number then Set password on
first login
ii.
Change
password
periodically

Look
of Main
Screen and Grade Sheet
a.
Classes
are the
tabs across the top of the grade sheets, sorted by period of day
b.
Quarters
(or
grading periods) are on the left of Grade sheet
c.
IMPORTANT:
When
Inserting/Deleting students or assignments
i.
Click
in the row
or column of the student or assignment on the grade sheet
ii.
Then
insert or
delete

Student
Names and demographics are stored in Grademaster. To access the
names, IDs, and demographic information, go to Class Setup Definitions.

Editing

To edit the classes information in Grademaster, you
must also go to Class Setup Definitions.

There are many ways
you can customize Calculations performed. Here are a couple of

Entering
Grades in your grade sheet is done by simply clicking in a cell and
typing a grade for the assignment. Please not the status bar at
the bottom of your screen. It will let you know more about the
current assignment you are working on!
a.
Calculating
(Calculator) grades is as simple as clicking the calculator button
after entering grades!

Reports are what
makes Grademaster a very useful tool. Reports can be created from
your own personal template, or you can use the following built in
report tools for the most common reports you may need!
